The snakeskin trend has been attacking casual wear like there’s no tomorrow. So I figured, in my effort to wear more pants, I’d jump on the bandwagon and purchase some snakeskin skinny jeans. Although I fall victim to trendy purchases every once and a while, I tend to buy pieces that not only fit my specific style, but can also surpass the trend of the season. Yes, these pants may slither like a snake, but the print is subtle. With a mixture of black and grey, these pants can last through this season’s snakeskin trend and be worn for years to come, passing as printed black jeans instead of “those snakeskin pants”. I also love how my purple ankle boots are sliding right back into the color scheme for fall. Who else is excited about this gorgeous purple shoe craze? Drool. Anyway. I’m all for a good animal [reptile] print, but make sure when purchasing an on-season trend, you find a piece with the stylish ability to last longer than a few months. I may have scales, but my scales will last longer than your wedge sneakers that are “so in” right now. Let’s be real, folks. Think logically, work with the trends, and don’t fall victim to them. More from me soon!
