Wearing the Porte-Plume‘s Free People lace-back cotton tee, F21 faded lime denim cutoffs, Target braided belt, thrifted mixed gold necklace, Melie Bianco clutch via Blush Boutique, and Michael Antonio Studio Gallista yellow platforms.
When attempting to scramble neon colors together, there’s nothing wrong with being bold. In fact, it’s inevitable. This summer has brought back every ridiculous shade of electricity, but my trick for rocking this bright trend is to choose pieces wisely. By pairing a neon pink top with faded lime shorts and highlighter platforms, I’ve overcompensated for my neon thirst, but by balancing the bright with neutral accessories, looking like a washed up Nicki Minaj has been avoided. A little restraint goes a long way in any look, but this trick plays an important role when tackling clothing that resembles the surface of the sun. All advice aside, the confidence required for any daring look will naturally deter those around from shielding their eyes. It will only require some blue-blockers.
In other news, I just watched Dave Cloud drive over the pedestrian sign in the middle of Belmont Boulevard.
